While alligators are a familiar face in Florida, it’s not every day that one interrupts a sports practice. A Florida high school’s lacrosse team practice was disrupted by an alligator that decided to take a jaunt across the field.
The Alonso High School lacrosse team posted a video of the incident on Twitter, which showed the alligator strolling across the field in Tampa during their practice session.
“First a Fish Falls from the sky, now a gator comes to visit — looks like it’s time for a new team award,” the team posted.
The video was recorded by Eric Klaus and posted to Alonso Lacrosse’s Twitter account. The players are all seen keeping their distance while the gator walks by with Aerosmith’s “Walk this Way” playing in the background of the video.
