Oftentimes, when your doorbell rings, it’s a package, food delivery or a welcomed guest. A South Carolina woman captured a very scary moment of an uninvited visitor ringing her doorbell in the middle of the night.
Wendy Watson was thankful she had a doorbell camera at her Greenville County home when a bear triggered the sensor to start recording. Otherwise, she may have opened up the door to the creature unknowingly.
The bear strolled up to her front door at around 3:30 a.m. and was able to paw at the doorbell to ring it.
“The bear kind of ambled up on the porch and was reaching up around the doorbell and there was a little nose print on the window that you can see. He looked around a little bit and went back down. and while he was out here, he ate a lot of bird seed,” Watson said.
Apparently, the bear is a regular visitor to her neighborhood. Not only has it visited her front porch but it has destroyed two of her bird feeders.
