Driver Scammed by Kittens Into Rescuing Entire Litter

Who wouldn’t want to help a poor little kitten lost on the side of the road? It’s alright when one kitten needs assistance but when 12 others appear, they might become a bit of a handful.

A viral video of a group of kittens scamming their way into one man’s heart is just as wholesome as you would expect.

Robert Brantley was headed to the shooting range after work when he spotted a small kitten in the grass on the side of the road. The kitten looked quite young and with it wandering on the road, Brantley decided he would bring it home. “The wife has been wanting a cat for the farm; figured I’d stop and rescue the thing,” he said.

Out of nowhere, a group of 12 kittens popped out from the wooded area and ambushed Brantley. “I thought I was saving one. Hot diggety dog!” Brantley said in the video.

Of course, Brantley couldn’t just leave all the kittens there as they were all quite small and most likely wouldn’t make it very long without any assistance. He managed to corral the kittens into his vehicle, taking them home to be fed and cared for.

“I couldn’t keep up with them as I would throw one in and two would jump out. So I had to close the door with the window down and funnel them in,” he said.

Brantley has since made his original video private but has posted multiple follow up videos to his Facebook. After showing the progress of the kittens since he picked them up, the kittens are now ready to be adopted.

Brantley and his family do plan on keeping the original kitten from the litter. The little guy has been named Scout and will surely offer the family many more adorable moments in the future.
