If you’re a fan of Fall Out Boy, you might shed some tears of joy over their latest release. The pop-punk band announced Crynyl, a limited edition vinyl infused with the artist’s real tears.
The first album on the docket was the band’s latest release, “So Much (For) Stardust.” Fall Out Boy hinted about this special Crynyl release back in March 2023 when a video of Pete Wentz applying tear stick, chopping onions and sweetly reminiscing on his friendship with Patrick Stump came out.
The secret upcoming product teased in the video has finally hit the shelves. A total of 50 copies were created with real tears, which also come packaged in a gatefold box with a built-in, fully functional tissue dispenser.
The band itself has surely generated a significant amount of tears over the two decades together but fans who haven’t gotten their hands on a copy might need to shed a few more. The first Crynyl pressing of “So Much (For) Stardust” has already sold out. Luckily, it seems there are already plans for more records to sob over.
