Game Show Contestant’s Conspiracy Theory Undone by Answer

When appearing on a game show that’s televised for the world to see, it’s best to try to not look like a complete fool. One woman attempted to share her conspiracy theory about the moon landing, only for it to be completely undone by the answer.

A player named Laura was on the Australian version of “The Chase” when she was questioned by host Larry Emdur about her love for aliens. She said that she loves ETs and “anything to do with space and all that kind of thing.”

Emdur asked Laura if she believed that man has walked on the moon. She replied that she didn’t and that she thought the entire thing “was a conspiracy.”

The host transitioned into a new question, asking Laura: “The first person to set foot on the moon was U.S. astronaut Neil who?”

“Armstrong,” Laura replied, which completely contradicted her previous statement about the moon landing being a hoax.

The clip from the show has since gone viral on Reddit, with many having a laugh about the entire situation.
