Get Paid to Live With Cockroaches

Being asked to put cockroaches in your home doesn’t sound all that fun until you see the reward attached.

A pest control company is offering $2,000 to homeowners that are willing to let them unleash 100 cockroaches in their homes.

The Pest Informer is completing a study to try to help them figure out the latest ways to eliminate the enemy that are cockroaches. They’re willing to fork out the big bucks in order to test out specific pest control techniques to see which is the most effective.

The company is looking for around five to seven households and the experiment is estimated to last for about 30 days. And although it might seem easy to apply, the Pest Informer has a list of requirements you must follow to be able to participate.

The requirements are as followed:

  • You must own the home or have written approval from the homeowner.
  • You must be 21 years or older to qualify.
  • You must be located in the Continental United States.
  • You must not try any additional cockroach treatments during the duration of the study.

If you’re stuck with cockroaches after the study is complete, the company will use additional cockroach treatment options at no cost to the homeowner. The Pest Informer also reiterates that all tested cockroach treatments are family and pet safe, making it easier for a wide variety of homeowners to apply.
