Kanye’s Valuables Belong in the Trash

Homeless people are far from fashion icons. It takes a wild imagination to derive inspiration from the rugged style of the people on the streets.

Kanye West boldly claims he gets inspiration by examining the outfits seen on homeless people. Modeling their behavior, he introduced his new fashion collection stuffed in garbage bags. West’s Yeezy Gap collection spills out of black bags as the effortless presentation style.

“This is how they are selling Yeezy GAP. The sales associate said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and this is how he wanted it. They won’t help you find ur size too, you just have to just dig through everything,” a Twitter user posted.

Fans were blown away but not in a good way. Customers do not want to pay a fortune for items they have to fish out of garbage bags. If it ends up in the trash, it has to indicate something negative about its value.

A commentator wrote: “Just like the thrift store experience except an ass-ton more expensive!”

Another person tweeted: “Balenciaga & Kanye’s fetish with the homeless as “fashion muses” it’s everything that is wrong with billionaires… they no longer see the plight of people, they don’t see humans that are suffering, they see opportunities to be “edgy” and profit from it… it’s disgusting.”

If billionaires are imitating the style of homeless people, it must be a compliment to their minimalistic carefree dressing style. Everyone seeks an element that feels out of reach — in some twisted way, Kanye lives out his fantasy of the broke life with his creations as a form of creative expression.

Buy it or shop around. The decision is yours.
