Man Arrested for Trampling Luxury Vehicles

A Chinese man got himself into quite an expensive night out after trampling and vandalizing four luxury vehicles while he was drunk. The 24-year-old from Chengdu, China, is required to pay at least $150,000 in repair costs.

The incident occurred at a luxury hotel in China’s Sichuan province. Staff received multiple complaints from the car’s owners and prompted them to review their security footage from the previous evening. The man was caught on camera and filmed kicking and walking over the tops of multiple luxury vehicles, which included a Lamborghini and two Rolls Royces.

Despite protests from his girlfriend and her best efforts to stop him, the man continued on his merry way. He is now responsible for the repair costs, which have been estimated at over 1 million yuan or $150,000.

It’s still unclear as to what caused the man, referred to as Gao by Chinese media, to want to hop up on the tops of these luxury cars. Despite his rage-fueled actions, he did end up turning himself in to the police the next morning.

Gao has been arrested and criminally charged with the crime of vandalism. For now, he may not get any prison time but he will have to write a very large check for the damaged vehicles.

It’s best not to end up like this man after a wild night out. You may be on the hook for way more than you bargained for.
