Man Spends $15,000 to Become a Dog

If you think you’ve seen everything, you’re in for a treat. A Japanese man has spent over $15,000 to turn himself into a dog.

The dog modeling suit was created by the company Zeppet, which is a special modeling studio integrating analog and digital mediums. They received a custom order from a man looking for a dog suit that perfectly replicated his favorite dog breed: a collie.

“At the request of an individual, we made a dog modeling suit. Modeled after a collie dog, it reproduces the appearance of a real dog walking on four legs like a real dog,” the company wrote.

It took Zeppet 40 days to make the costume as the man continued adding improvements to ensure his custom piece was perfect. Once the costume was complete, they created multiple posts on Twitter that included several pictures of the incredibly well-made costume.

The man, who goes by the name Toko, said he can move his limbs with some resistance inside of the costume. Toko has since set up a YouTube channel for his doggy endeavors with videos titled “I tried to become a collie” and “I became a rough collie and posed!”

It seems like the term “man’s best friend” has taken on a whole new meaning.
