Traveling can be stressful enough as is but what about your plane tickets not appearing as they should? While booking a flight, a man was left shocked when the arrival and departure confirmations showed up as the same location.
Auditya Venkatesh booked an AirAsia flight but he was taken aback when the airline showed the destination and arrival terminals of the same airport. After multiple failed attempts to edit the booking, Venkatesh posted his query on Twitter in the hopes of hearing back from the airline.
Venkatesh had booked his flight ticket from Hyderabad to Bengaluru but the confirmation pop-up showed that the ticket was being booked from Bengaluru to Bengaluru. That’s a pretty cheap flight.
It also showed that the flight would depart from Kempegowda International Airport, which is in Bengaluru, at 2:20 p.m. and reach Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata at 3:30 p.m.
Air Asia responded to Venkatesh, claiming that it might be a technical glitch and asked the traveler to refresh the page and make a new booking. However, Venkatesh ended up booking the ticket and his assistant was able to reach their desired destination of Bengaluru.
