Missouri Women Get Into Fight Over Disney World Tickets

There’s nothing like getting in a fight over the happiest place in the world. Two women from Missouri ended up getting arrested after they got into a fight over tickets to Disney World.

Katherine Northrup and Gina Danforth were on vacation in Florida when the pair got into a brawl over a “golf cart and tickets to Disney World.” Police were called to a home on May 6, 2024, where the two women had to be physically separated when Northrup allegedly became “belligerent.”

The 31 -year-old told police that Danforth got into her face and was spitting, alleging that while she attempted to separate herself she was grabbed by the hair and pinned down. Both women also admitted to officers that punches were exchanged.

While a number of people were present during the argument, police were unable to determine exactly how it started “due to the lack of credible witnesses.”

Northrup walked away with scratches to her neck, elbow and stomach and was checked out by emergency crews at the scene. Her 28-year-old boxing partner demanded to be taken to a hospital because she was “not feeling well.”

Both women were charged with battery and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. They were released after each posting a $1,000 bond.
