Moose want to treat themselves so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they have a hankering for junk food every once in a while. Security cameras managed to capture the moment a moose strolled into an Alaska movie theater and helped itself to some popcorn.
Kenai Cinemas in Kenai, Alaska, had an unexpected visitor that was captured on camera. An employee that was working at the concession stand was shocked when the moose casually wandered into the theater’s foyer.
The employee watched in awe as the moose located and ate the popcorn. It then left with its nose stuck in a McDonald’s Happy Meal box. “I do not know if a Happy Meal is good for a moose or not. However, I can confidently say that it’s not in its natural diet,” Nick Fowler, a wildlife biologist with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, said.
This moose mishap comes just weeks after a different moose found its way inside an Anchorage medical building. The animal had managed to trigger the sensors on the automatic doors to the building and was eventually guided back outside by security personnel.
