With many Netflix series being rather popular, it comes as no surprise that the streaming giant has some luxurious tastes. It turns out, Netflix is looking to hire a flight attendant for one of its private jets and the pay can reach up to $385,000.
“Do you have a passion for aviation and a desire to work within a dream crew? The Netflix Aviation department provides exceptional, safe, confidential air transportation. It is our goal to provide the most outstanding aviation experience available, by using the best people and the best equipment, and providing the highest level of customer service possible,” the job posting reads.
According to the company, the flight attendant will operate out of San Jose International airport and fly on a G550 Super midsized jet. The flight attendant is required to be based in Northern California and to “embrace the Netflix culture of freedom and responsibility.”
While the job description on Netflix’s website doesn’t specify an exact salary, the posting does say that the “overall market range” for the position ranges from $60,000 to $385,000 in total compensation, depending on experience and other factors.
Although this sounds like a sweet gig, there is definitely some serious work involved. The position requires the employee to be FAA-certified, able to assist in procuring aircraft stock before trips, perform a pre-flight inspection of all cabin, galley and cockpit emergency equipment and be able to carry 30-pound bags.
