When a traffic stop occurs, it’s best to just listen to the police to avoid any altercations. One person didn’t quite get the memo and decided to bite an officer that was conducting a traffic stop in Alabama.
The Mobile Police Department said an officer was bit by a suspect while conducting a traffic stop at Beauregard Street and Water Street in Mobile, Alabama, on the evening of May 18, 2023. It was reported that the suspect exited their vehicle before biting the officer.
A manhunt is currently ongoing as the suspect has yet to be caught. Authorities said the man was last seen on Bloodgood and Renaissance. Police believe the suspect is near Joachim and are concentrating the manhunt in Mobile’s Orange Grove neighborhood.
The suspect, who has not been identified at this time, will face second-degree assault and attempt to elude charges. Fortunately, the officer that was bit walked away with very minor injuries.
