Physical attractiveness can be influenced by facial symmetry, as a beautiful face has symmetrical features that make it a delight for the viewer. A lady challenged this beauty standard as her face has perfectly aligned features but it also scares people unintentionally. It is hard to love four eyebrows, even if it is symmetrical, as it strays well beyond the norm.
Nipapron Meeking, a 32-year-old woman in Thailand, had a vision of thick full brows as she entered an eyebrow tattoo procedure to bring that picture to life. She paid $41 at a small beauty clinic in Rayong province in eastern Thailand.
Once Meeking opened her eyes, her excitement turned into absolute horror. The aesthetician drew above her existing ones instead of on-top, giving her two pairs of eyebrows. She confronted the staff about the mess-up and they assured her they could fix it the following day at no extra charge.
When she returned the next day, the beauty salon closed down permanently. One night bought them enough time to run instead of face a lawsuit. They had no solution for this tricky brow situation.
“I had a terrible time living with four eyebrows on my forehead but luckily I found this new tattoo artist,” Meeking said. “With this new artist, I can finally live a normal life.”
Pattawee Phumkasem came to the rescue after learning about her struggles online. She reached out to Meeking with an offer to fix the brows free of charge, even though the erasing procedure typically costs over $400.
The extra brows are gone and Meeking is back to her confident self. She is slowly learning to embrace her natural brows. Even if it’s not thick and defined, it’s much better than the brow disaster.
