“Short Circuit” is the beloved ’80s adventure/family movie about the Reagan Era Cold War Secret Weapon Robot who gets struck by lightning and comes to life, befriends the Dandruff Girl from ‘The Breakfast Club’ and teaches Steve Guttenberg how to love again.
It’s also SUPER problematic in hindsight. Like, “let’s paint a white guy brown and have him do a wacky Indian accent” problematic.
