Stay in Scooby Doo’s Mystery Machine

Zoinks! Looking to solve mysteries with a talking dog and a group of friends? Airbnb has got you covered. You can now stay in the iconic “Mystery Machine” van from the 2002 live-action Scooby-Doo movie.

Airbnb announced that the Mystery Machine was being listed for three one-night-only stays on June 24, 25 and 26, 2022, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film’s release.

The van is complete with a ton of 2002 throwback items, including a Sugar Ray album, a portable CD player, a lava lamp and a vintage television set for staying up at all hours to watch Scooby-Doo.

The listing is available in Southern California and comes with a variety of activities for the guests. The stay includes meals and all-you-can-eat snacks for the crew, mystery games and a virtual greeting from “host” Matthew Lillard, who played Shaggy in the original movie and the sequel.

“I’ve been channeling Shaggy since the live-action adaptation in 2002, and he’s been a part of me ever since. I can’t wait to welcome guests into the world of the Mystery Inc. gang as their Airbnb Host and give them a summer vacation they’ll never forget — monsters not included!” Lillard said in the Airbnb announcement.

Bookings for the Mystery Machine are available starting June 16 at 1 p.m but they will go quickly.

Would you do it for a Scoobie Snack?
