Taylor Swift Fan Sells Their Worn Tour Contacts for $10,000

For the die-hard Taylor Swift fans who wish to view the world through another fan’s eyes, an admirer of the star advertises their contacts that have “seen Taylor Swift’s eras tour.”

A new gaze awaits at only $10,000 so why not grab it to mess with your sight? You may not share the same prescription as the seller but the contacts bear witness to the star in action and it’s worth a blurry vision.

The tickets to a Taylor Swift live concert can cost an arm and a leg so one fan decided to poke around their eyes to alleviate some of the ticket expenses. The fan set up an offer to sell the contacts they wore to see the show for $10,000 on Depop. The product listing is posted by sushilvr and although they may be used, it’s said to be in “excellent condition.”

The fans who are disappointed for having missed the concerts have the opportunity to relive the memories through the silicone-hydrogel.

The listing went viral with the bizarre product description. One person wrote that they “respect the hustle,” while another added that they “love a businesswoman.” Another user expressed admiration for the sales tactic: “Swifties are so unhinged. I love us so much.”

Even though it’s a high-ticket price, fans were willing to buy it if they had sufficient funds and weren’t already attending the Eras Tour. “This is how much of a dedicated fan I am! If you told me to roll around in shards of glass I would!” a fan wrote. Another joked: “I’d buy, I have no personality outside of being a Taylor fan.”

Don’t pull out the credit cards too fast since Depop deleted the product listing and no one can actually buy the contacts. Depop managed to save a blind follower of the bloodshot eyes from used contacts.

The seller confirmed that it was just a joke with no real intent to sell.
