Driving while tired is never a good thing. There have been several signs posted along major highways about the importance of getting enough sleep before driving but apparently, Tesla drivers haven’t received the memo.
Nowadays, Tesla drivers have taken advantage of their autonomous vehicles, allowing their cars to take the wheel while they get a quick nap in. A video that was posted on Twitter showed a Tesla driver in Toronto, Canada, fast asleep behind the wheel as they were cruising along the busy Highway 401 near Bayview Avenue.
In the clip, a male driver in a blue electric vehicle can be seen sitting behind the wheel with his eyes closed and head tilted back as if he were snoozing. While it’s hard to confirm if the driver was actually asleep, he doesn’t appear to open his eyes as the vehicle drives along the highway.
Some people took to the comments to share their opinions. One user wrote: “What’s more dangerous, you taping the act or him using FSD?” The person who posted the original video explained that the footage was shot by a passenger in another vehicle.
