Toddler Uses Mom’s Phone to Order 31 Cheeseburgers

A Texas mother learned her lesson about leaving her phone unattended when her two-year-old son decided to order himself 31 hamburgers from McDonald’s.

At the time, Golden was distracted while working on her computer when her son, Barrett, got a hold of her unlocked phone and managed to use the DoorDash food delivery app to order a boatload of burgers from McDonald’s.

She claimed that she was completely unaware of his actions until the delivery driver arrived at the home. After her son only finished part of a single burger, she was left with way too many for her and her family to consume themselves.

“I didn’t know what to do with them, he only ate half of one. So I posted on a community page on Facebook here in Kingsville and asked if anybody wanted some.”

Kelsey Golden shared the hilarious exchange to a community Facebook group, saying: “I have 31 free cheeseburgers from McDonald’s if anyone is interested. Apparently my 2 yr old knows how to order doordash,” Golden told KRIS-TV.

The Facebook post peaked some local interest and a few neighbors did drop by for free burgers.

In total, Golden said the cheeseburgers cost her $61.58 and Barrett included a $16 tip, bringing her grand total to $91.70.
