Woman Calls 911 After Getting Stuck on Gym Equipment

Working out is a great way to help you feel better both physically and mentally. As a newbie, heading to the gym can be intimidating, especially with the exercise equipment out there today. A woman had to make an embarrassing phone call to the police when she got herself stuck upside down while using an inversion table at the gym.

Christine Faulds shared a video of herself on TikTok, where she clarifies that she was working out at the gym around 3 a.m. when the incident occurred. In the viral video, she’s stuck using an inversion table, which suspends the body upside down in order to stretch the spine and relieve back pain.

After attempting to call another gym patron for help to no avail, Faulds was left with no choice but to call 911. With her phone out of reach, she managed to contact emergency services through her smartwatch.

A police officer was able to come to her rescue. In the video, Faulds says: “Oh dear lord, my ankles are burning. Just the easiest rescue ever.” The officer easily turned the inversion table right side up and the call lasted a total of 12 minutes.

The video has since blown up online, with more than 7.2 million views on TikTok. Thousands have commented their funny reactions to the video. One person wrote: “Nah see I’d just die there before I called 911.”

Another commented: “And that ladies and gentlemen is why I don’t exercise.”
