Would You Eat the World’s Most Expensive Fries?

July 13 means it’s National French Fry Day and one restaurant is bringing back a world record-winning dish to celebrate.

Serendipity3 on Manhattan’s Upper East Side earned a Guinness World Record for the world’s most expensive french fries back in 2021. Chefs at the restaurant cooked up Creme de la Creme Pommes Frites, a plate of fries listed for $200.

The fries ingredients include Chipperbeck potatoes, Dom Perignon Champagne, J. LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar, cage-free goose fat from France, Guerande Truffle Salt, truffle oil, Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello cheese, shaved black summer truffles from Italy, truffle butter, organic A2 A2 100% grass-fed cream from Jersey Cows, Gruyere Truffled Swiss Raclette.

To add to the expensive list of ingredients, the dish is topped with 23-karat edible gold dust. Only the best of the best for these fries.

Fancy fries aren’t the only Guinness World Record item on Serendipity3’s menu. They also have the Golden Opulence Sundae, Le Burger Extravagant, Quintessential Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Foot Long Haute Dog and the Luxe Milkshake that can be enjoyed.
