Spotting a zebra out and about can definitely throw your mind into wack. Several people were shocked when they saw an escaped zebra that was roaming through the streets of Seoul, South Korea for around three hours.
The Seoul Children’s Grand Park zoo confirmed that the zebra escaped around 3 p.m. on March 23, 2023, and made its way to a nearby residential neighborhood. There, the animal was spotted by residents, some of which posted on social media about the bizarre incident.
It took zoo officials and firefighters pursuing the zebra for about three hours before they were able to corner the animal and administer a tranquilizer. Officials said that the zebra was safely returned to the zoo just after 6 p.m. the same day.
An investigation has been opened into how the zebra was able to escape the facility. Fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported from the zebra’s time wandering about.
