Bears can get hungry and need a pit stop on the way to their destination every now and then. A hungry bear managed to pay a visit to a cafe in California for some sweet treats before being ejected by the police.
The bruin was caught on camera by an employee at the Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, California. The bear barged into the business around 7 p.m. while there were still people in the store.
The bear climbed onto the counter and helped itself to some delicious cookies while employees phoned the police for assistance. Who wouldn’t want to chow down on dessert, especially when it’s free for the taking?
Officers did respond to the call and were able to eventually guide the bear out of the store and down the sidewalk. The animal will have to get its fix of late-night snacks from somewhere else.
