Dad-of-Two Crashes Into Police Car During Road Sex

Multi-tasking on the road is not recommended. It’s impossible to steer the car and engage in passionate sex without one of these actions going completely wrong.

Ruairi Canning, a 31-year-old dad-of-two, drove his Volvo into a police car that was trying to stop his car from speeding. When police officers were investigating the cause of his reckless driving, they found out he was engaging in some adult fun behind the wheel with his girlfriend.

The climax of Canning’s story was more than the sexual thrill. Authorities charged him with “attempted grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving” for causing injuries to the police officer. He was also driving without the appropriate license and insurance and failed to remain at the accident scene.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland for Derry City and Strabane shared the incident on Twitter with photos of the damaged police car. The police service said: “This is the damage caused to one of our cars after it was rammed in the city at the weekend. Two of our officers sustained arm and neck injuries. A man has been arrested in relation to this.”

According to court documents, the officer said: “Initially they [the police sergeant and the constable] thought the driver was going to give himself up and the sergeant got out and approached the Volvo. The sergeant heard the Volvo revving and he drew his baton, with the intention of striking the car windscreen. The car then reversed towards him at speed and he had to jump out of the way.”

“The officer in the police car tried to block the road but the Volvo connected with the police vehicle, causing significant damage. The sergeant also sustained slight injuries to his neck and right arm as he had to jump out of the way of the Volvo, which, after the incident, drove off towards Whitehouse Park.”

Canning refutes all of the accusations and he denies being the driver of the Volvo, which is nowhere to be found.
