When grabbing a bite to eat, no one expects a wild animal to make an appearance. A deer was captured on camera crashing through a window at a Mississippi restaurant during lunchtime.
The deer made its epic entrance at the Mi Pueblo eatery in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Footage taken from security cameras at the establishment showed diners trying to get out of the way of the deer as it ran through the dining room and past the buffet.
Restaurant staff attempted to chase the deer out of the eatery to avoid additional damage. Unfortunately, the animal had different plans and ended up making its own exit by jumping out through a different window.
Kamen Campbell of Mississippi Wildlife and Fisheries said that it’s currently the mating season for deer, causing them to behave unpredictably, which may have been the cause for this brief encounter.
