Arguing with the police will just get you into some more trouble. A Florida man reportedly told police that he was allowed to be drunk and disorderly and sit naked in a trash can on the sidewalk.
According to police in St. Petersburg, Florida, Wyly James Weeks was intoxicated, unsteady on his feet, and smelled of booze when officers found him late in the evening on a downtown street. The 35-year-old was completely naked standing in a trash can.
The man was removed from the garbage bin and arrested for disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence. Weeks said he did not have to provide officers with his “name or demographics.”
The Florida man ended up pleading guilty to both counts and was fined $520 for his crimes.
