Property Owner Claims “Hooker” Ghosts Have Taken Over Rental

Sexual excitement does not disappear when the soul leaves the body. In some cases, ghosts can’t even escape the lusty temptations.

Linda Hill and her husband purchased several investment properties in Gainesville with the intention of renting them out. However, one investment property, in particular, proved to be a challenge with a growing list of short-lived tenants. It was as if the property was cursed and tenants refuse to live there for an extended period of time.

“It’s like a revolving door,” said Hill. “The longest anyone stayed in this house was six months.”

After ten tenants moved out in less than two years, she got to the bottom of the issue. A person informed her that it was haunted and Hill dismissed the reason as impossible.

She changed her mind quickly after a shower on the property. Through the curtain, she saw a dark figure who whispered “Lookin’ good!” Initially, she thought it was her husband but it wasn’t him.

“He said, ‘Who were you talking to?'” Hill recalled. “And it was like, ‘Oh my God, it really is haunted.'”

Based on rumors, the house was built in the 1840s to be a bordello. A home for prostitutes explains the peeping Tom behind the shower curtain.

Hill said several people have recorded Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVPs), where the ghosts can be heard talking dirty in the house. “‘Oh baby, oh baby, yeah,'” Hill said, mimicking the steamy encounter. “‘Yeah, I like it like that.'”

Supernatural activities are a common occurrence in this house. There’s a door in the upstairs bathroom that regularly opens, even after it’s been shut tight.

As if the bathroom flirting isn’t enough, there is also a 19-foot-well underneath the living room. Some people believe it’s a spiritual portal inviting many different ghosts and spirits to roam around freely in the residence. Beside the well, there is a murder room where people claim to have seen a dead man lying on the floor of that room.

It should be no surprise that people refuse to become roomies with flirtatious ghosts. Hill stopped trying to find tenants to lease her property. She saves the property for ghostbusters or ghost enthusiasts who want to investigate the property.
