Baa-d boys will find themselves in a heap of trouble. A sheep managed to end up in the back of a police car in England after it was spotted wandering near traffic on a local highway.
Cambridgeshire Police wrote on Instagram that officers received multiple calls from drivers who had spotted a sheep at the side of the A1 highway in Buckden, England. Most were concerned about the animal’s safety and didn’t want it to wander into traffic.
When police arrived, they loaded the sheep into the back of a patrol car to be taken in for processing. They made sure to snap a few pictures to post online as well.
“He was a bit sheepish as we herded him into the police car and off the road before taking him to a nearby farm so he could be scanned and returned to his rightful owner,” police wrote.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the sheep’s presence. “It’s not every day we’re called to herd sheep,” the post said.
