Gaming and fast food go hand in hand so it only makes sense that McDonald’s would create their own version of a gaming chair. To celebrate the launch of its new “game-changing” chicken burger, the McCrispy, McDonald’s U.K. released a gaming chair giveaway.
The giveaway was announced on the brand’s Facebook page with a video showcasing the cool yellow and black racing-style design. As per the video, the chair contains many helpful additions that are ideal for enjoying a McDonald’s meal.
A fry holder, a “hot box to keep your McCrispy warm during game-play” a stain-proof treatment (which is necessary if you’re eating greasy food while sitting in it) and slots for two of your favorite dipping sauces are just some of the cool features.
Several questions surrounded the announcement like whether or not the chair needs to be plugged in to keep the sandwich warmer operating. As long as the chair works better than their ice cream machines, gamers should have no problems.
Only one chair is being given away as part of the grand prize but it’s rumored that three others exist and were given to influencers to try. Two runner-ups will receive a McCrispy Neon Light. According to the contest’s terms, “there is no cash alternative to the prize,” suggesting that the epic gaming chair is priceless.
People living in England, Scotland and Wales can enter via the McDonald’s Facebook page and the contest ends on November 13, 2022.
