Typo Painted on Massachusetts Road Misspelled School

Misspelling the word school outside of a school isn’t exactly the best look. A Massachusetts town is scrambling after a typo revealed that the word “school” was spelled as “shcool” on a road near Mountview Middle School.

The town of Holden was made aware of this misspelled word and said that the contractor was informed shortly after the typo occurred two weeks ago. With weather conditions not being ideal since the mistake was brought to the contractor’s attention, he hasn’t been able to change the spelling.

The town of Holden has been frustrated by having to wait but recently posted on its Facebook page that they may have come up with a temporary solution for the road paint typo. Hilariously, the town joked that Mountview Middle School’s name would be changed to Mountview Middle Shcool instead.

“We expect it to be corrected shortly and we are eternally grateful for everyone’s input on this matter,” said the town’s Facebook page.
