Traveling can be quite a stressful experience. One thing that’s essential for going on a relaxing international trip is a valid passport. A woman didn’t get the memo and tried to use an expired passport to get on a plane to her destination.
The woman presented her expired passport at an Emirates check-in at the Mexico City International Airport while running late for her flight. When she was denied boarding, she began attacking an agent behind the check-in desk by throwing luggage and anything else she could get her hands on.
To bring more attention to herself and the scene, the woman climbed on top of the counter and began screaming at the top of her lungs before security was able to escort her away from the area.
“The client was denied the trip and she became rebellious and physically abusive with the ground staff — so it was necessary for airport security and police to intervene,” said Emirates.
It’s unclear as to where the woman was attempting to travel to and whether she was released from police custody. Clearly, causing a temper tantrum did not help with getting her to her destination.
