Artist Entombs Bag of Cheetos

When thinking about what snacks people might want to try 10,000 years from now, Cheetos was the first thing that came to the mind of one creative man. He used his skills and passion for the snack to create a homemade tomb for a packet of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

The TikToker, who goes by the name Sunday Nobody, posted a video on the platform showing off his process for crafting the 3,000-pound concrete snack food sarcophagus.

The artist said the project took him around four months to complete and cost about $1,250 in materials to accomplish. “I just do these meme art projects as a fun side hobby right now. My day job is working as an animator. When I’m not at my 9-5, I’m usually in my art studio,” Sunday Nobody said.

To preserve the snack-size bag, the Cheetos were encased in a block of resin, which was then suspended by cables in the middle of the empty tomb to ensure it wouldn’t bust open over time.

The concrete coffin was buried in an undisclosed location in the Pacific Northwest. “The exact location is a secret,” he said.

He added: “The way I found the land was by posting to my Instagram ‘Does anyone own land in the PNW that would be willing to let me bury something on their property? (not a dead body)’ and a very nice couple replied saying they’d love to be a part of the project.”
