CFO Arrested After Being Discovered Sleeping in Stranger’s House

Finding a place to crash is apparently difficult for even the wealthiest people because apparently, hotels don’t have all the comforts of home. The chief financial officer of one of America’s largest food companies was arrested after he fell asleep in a stranger’s bed.

John Tyson, the CFO of Tyson Foods, was arrested in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass after he entered a woman’s house drunk. The college-aged woman later discovered Tyson and called the police.

According to the arrest report, after finding Tyson passed out in her bed, the woman had told police she found “a male she did not know asleep in her bed.”

When the officer arrived, he found the 32-year-old had clothing thrown all over the floor and was identified by his ID. The officer woke Tyson up but he quickly attempted to go back to sleep. According to the officer involved, Tyson’s movements were “sluggish and uncoordinated.” He also had a distinct odor of intoxicants on his breath and body.

Tyson was arrested on charges of public intoxication and criminal trespassing and released later that day on a $415 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 1, 2022.

A Tyson Foods spokesman said that the company is aware of the incident. They consider it a personal matter and have no additional comment at this time.
