Deer Crashes Into Police Chief’s Office

Everyone can land themselves in a sticky situation every once in a while. A deer landed itself in a pickle after it crashed through a window of a police chief’s office.

Hinesville Police Chief Lloyd Slater had been using a vacation day when the incident occurred. He still wanted to stop by the police station in the morning and when he headed towards the building’s conference room, he was informed a deer was currently in his office.

“As long as I’ve been here, we’ve seen a number of things and we try to prepare for every contingency that happens out there but we certainly didn’t prepare for this.”

“We’re going to have to get some professionals in here to do some professional clean up in here. Along with me sorting through the massive paperwork that apparently I’m left with that this point in time,” Slater said.

The deer had somehow managed to crash into the chief’s office through a window before making its way to the conference room area.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources was called to remove the animal. No one was injured during the incident.
