Kyles Unite in Texas Park to Break World Record

Kyle is a fairly common name and everyone has encountered one at some point in their life. The common name becomes a hot topic in Texas as a town is gathering people named Kyle internationally to break a Guinness World Record. The task is to bring together the most people with the same name in the same place and collectively gain the prestigious title.

The City of Kyle is calling all people named Kyle to the Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza from May 19 to 21, 2023, at Lake Kyle Park. If your name is Kyle, come on down to meet your twins and build a legacy.

Everyone should be in the park by Sunday, May 21 at 4:00 p.m. as they aim to claim the Guinness World Record for the largest same-name gathering.

“In order to break this record, we’re calling for any and all Kyles. We need tall Kyle’s, short Kyle’s, young Kyle’s and old Kyle’s to get close to the record set five years ago,” City of Kyle Special Events Manager Claudia Rocha said in a statement. “We’re very excited about the upcoming, inaugural Kyle Fair and have high hopes that this event will bring out the Kyles needed to grab a spot in the record books.”

Currently, the Guinness World Record belongs to Kupreski Kosci in Bosnia and Herzegovina who organized an event with 2,325 people named Ivan on July 30, 2017.

There is an incentive to attend since all Kyles who show up will be given a free Kyle Fair T-shirt. There are also complimentary, live music, margarita and rib-making contests. As an added bonus, crafts and food vendors are available.

The event can be a lively experience with plenty of new faces. If you lost a Kyle in the gathering, all the best trying to scream their name.
