Missing Cow Resurfaces Weeks Later

Losing a cow in the streets of Louisville doesn’t seem like it could be done but somehow this Heffer faded into the background, until now.

The Louisville Metro Police Department announced that in late October, a group of 11 cows escaped from a truck that had been struck by another vehicle on Interstate 64 in Kentucky. The cows were found running loose on the Cherokee Park golf course and the surrounding area shortly after. Three of the cows were lassoed back home after this spotting.

All but one of the cows have now been rounded up by the authorities and other volunteer cowboys looking to get involved. According to Louisville Metro Animal Services, the remaining bull was spotted roaming the streets near Le Moo and Beargrass Creek. How fitting.

You definitely don’t want to mess with the bull on this one. Local authorities have asked members of the community to call the police if they spot the animal rather than attempt to capture the bull themselves.
