No Gas? The Cops Will Be Right Over

Marchello Moore, a 41-year-old crook, had plans to rob a gas station and flee the scene. Moore entered into a Circle K convenience store to steal cash from the worker at the counter. He threatened her with the gun to hand over the money.

However, the 78-year-old clerk was not an easy target as she ducked behind the counter and protected the cash from the suspect. Moore ran out of the store with no money and rode away in a black Chevy Impala.

Moore may have escaped from the senior clerk but police officers weren’t going to let him off the hook. Cops chased after him as he tried to ride away in his vehicle. There was just one problem: his car ran out of gas. The chase got a lot easier for the officers as Moore tried to escape by foot while throwing out a handgun. The police were able to get a hold of him.

Moore is in the Shelby County Jail on charges of attempted aggravated robbery and evading arrest.

In this case, it seems like Moore needed the gas more than the money. Pumping and fleeing may have gotten him further.
