North Texans: Is That An Alien?

People were rubbing their eyes for a double take after the observation of an unusual Texas sky. A mysterious string of lights was visible for many across the city prompting speculations about a potential UFO sighting. Residents were getting ready to wave at aliens as they had their cameras out with the hopes of capturing an extraterrestrial experience.

Although it wasn’t a breakthrough moment with UFOs, the flying satellites did help people get more connected digitally. This extraordinary view was a result of Elon Musk’s SpaceX and it was a work of technology. The Starlink satellites are meant to help bring high-speed broadband internet to locations across the globe where the internet may not be readily accessible.

SpaceX launched 54 Starlink satellites to orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This was the sixth launch and landing of this Falcon 9 first stage booster, which previously launched CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, and now one Starlink mission.

Even though it wasn’t a UFO, it’s still a proud moment for all of the space dreamers. As a YouTube commentator wrote, “Watching a 1st stage landing never gets old! Incredible advanced rocket tech by Elon and his SpaceX squad of Geniuses. I’m a senior citizen and really hope I get to see them reach Mars and walk on the red planet.”
