Shelter Dogs Indulge in McDonald’s Burgers

The kibble stays in the bag for this feeding hour. Bland kibble works for a routine diet but a special occasion requires a more savoury item to honor the moment.

The Humane Society of Lebanon County posted photos on Facebook of their rescue dogs feasting on McDonald’s cheeseburgers. The dogs had their mouths fed in memory of Joe Kunder’s 55th birthday. The post went viral with thousands of people rejoicing in witnessing a happy dinner for all the pups.

The caption read: “The shelter pups enjoyed a special treat today. Donated by a previous adopter, burgers for the dogs were given, in memory of Joe Kunder. Today was his heavenly 55th birthday, and this is something he would’ve loved.”

YouTube food reaction videos are put to shame by these pups as they devour the burgers with curious eyes and a wide grin. Each pup has a unique eating style that was captured by the posts.

A user commented: “I know he bit that burger so gently from their hand.”

Another person wrote: “He was taking those tiny fast bites ‘nom, nom, nom, nom, nom!'”

One dog even reminded a person of their dead grandma. Reincarnated granny with four paws? “Are you sure it’s okay? This is too much. No, you should have some too, really… you’re so thin. I may have to adopt this dog. My grandma has clearly been reincarnated.”

Some of the dogs might have dietary restrictions as one user pointed out: “I’M VEGAN SARAH!!”

Now, stop drooling over the screen and go enjoy your meal!
