Children love being imaginative and crafting is a great way to get those creative juices flowing. Sometimes artwork can take your breath away, just as in a TikTok that went viral after a mom discovered her daughter’s homemade dreamcatcher was actually a tampon. “Dream absorber” might be the better word for it.
A little girl had told her mother, Renae Smiler, she had made a dreamcatcher. Wanting to check out the creation, Smiler headed off to her daughter’s room, only to find a tampon fixed above the headboard. It was even decorated with a colorful felt tip.
Smiler posted about the hilarious incident online where she was unable to contain herself when she discovered the unique, multi-purpose dream catcher. Smiler joked that her daughter probably won’t be as proud of her artwork “in a few years when she finds out what it is.”
The video has since been viewed over 1.3 million times, with many making hilarious jokes about the situation. One person wrote: “I mean, it’s def made to catch something… but just not in that way.”
Another commented: “That is a profound piece of art right there. I’m not even joking, keep it and give it to her at 35.”
