When purchasing vegetables, most people have turned to buying from local vendors over grocery stores to better understand where their food comes from. Despite being a good shift, the decision doesn’t bode well when a local vendor is caught urinating on vegetables before selling them.
A video was shared on the internet taken by Durgesh Gupta, who lives in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. He went out for the day in his car for some work and happened to notice an elderly man peeing on his vegetables. He was also seen spitting on the vegetables as well.
Many online wondered exactly how long the man had been selling vegetables for and if he had been dousing the food with urine the entire time. Hopefully, people were washing their veggies before eating.
After the video went viral on social media, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered at the Prem Nagar Police Station. It was reported that the man who peed on the vegetables was arrested and taken into custody. As of the last update, police were in the process of interrogating the man to learn more.
