Bears tend to take a bite out of anything they can get their paws on. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that a Florida woman captured a video of a bear eating avocados from the tree in her yard.
Lynn Wracan, a Davanport resident, said the bear had been wandering in the Thousand Oaks area for a few months. She caught the animal red-handed when she spotted it showing some significant interest in one of her trees in the early morning hours.
At first, Wracan thought the bear was interested in her Christmas lights before she realized what the animal was really after. “No, he’s eating our avocados,” Wracan said. “No, that’s not a good idea, pumpkin. Oh, you’re gonna take a nap now? Seriously?”
This isn’t the first time residents have complained about the thieving bear. Apparently, the animal has been blamed for fruit disappearances from multiple trees in and around the neighborhood. The authorities have already informed her there is nothing they can do.
