Your Dog Can Earn $10,000 a Year as a Pup Influencer

When getting a new pet, many turn to creating a social media page for their new fluffy friend. It’s a great way to show cute photos and videos of your lovable pooch to all that are willing to watch.

If you’re one of those people, you could soon be making bank from your pet’s cuteness. Yappy, an online retailer of pet gifts, is currently searching for its next “Chief Fluff Officer.” This gig sounds as sweet as it is and comes with a $10,000 paycheck each year.

“The successful pup will be a natural behind the camera, always happy to strike a pose and genuinely enjoy having their photo taken and being filmed as they try out our latest personalized gifts,” the company announced in the job ad.

Although the position sounds tempting, the duties included in being a pup influencer can be quite ruff and aren’t for everyone. The Chief Fluff Officer must stay groomed and camera ready at all times and must be “comfortable showing off their best poses, sassy struts, tail wags, tricks and expressions” online.

In return, the pup will get paid a hefty amount, receive fun products from Yappy’s website to try out and occasionally travel for photoshoots. Sounds like a dream job for everyone.

“We’re keen to cast the net as wide as possible so we can give everyone a chance to apply for this amazing role. This is the first time we’ve offered the role and so far, we’ve had over 3,000 applications,” the company said.

Pet parents must complete an online application by November 18 to be considered.
