Crash Coats Ohio Highway in Chocolate and Caramel

While chocolate and caramel are delicious treats no one needs this much of it. Part of a highway in Ohio was closed after a crash involving two semi-trucks covered the road in boxes of chocolate and caramel.

The Ohio Department of Transportation posted on X about the incident saying that the two large trucks crashed into each other around 6 a.m. on November 30, 2023. The westbound lane of Interstate 90 in Lake County, Ohio, was closed while crews cleaned up the roadway.

One of the trucks was carrying boxes of chocolate and caramel candy, which spilled onto the highway. This forced officials to direct traffic off the road so it could be removed.

Concord Fire crews were called to the scene for cleanup operations. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
