Ex-Girlfriends Become Wedding Crashers to Seek Revenge

Time heals most wounds unless it’s a romantic heartbreak; for some people, an aching heart grieving the loss of a relationship can be a disaster in the making. A man in China had an unexpected entourage of guests that featured a line up of his ex-girlfriends who made an entrance to ruin his wedding ceremony.

The guests at a wedding in Hengdi Village, China’s Yunan province, were shocked by the drama that unfolded. It certainly wasn’t a part of the wedding itinerary when a dozen women showed up outside the wedding venue with a large red banner that read: “We are Chen Song’s ex-girlfriends, and today we will destroy you.” It’s a peculiar protest that sets an odd start to a new beginning.

The initial reaction by the attendees was that this over-the-top stunt had to be a prank. After all, it sounds bizarre to organize a rally against someone. However, it was later confirmed that these women were heartbroken by the groom. They were ready to drop some hurdles as he walks down the altar.

A viral clip revealed the women standing across the street from the wedding venue and flashing the banner for the crowd. Inquisitive guests walked up to the ladies with their questions. Chen and his bride confronted the women who could care less about their happiness. They only had one motive; to bring him down to their level of suffering.

“It embarrassed me quite a lot,” Chen Song said. “Now my newlywed wife and her family are upset with me.”

The groom confessed to not treating some of these ladies well, but according to his statement, he’s turned over a new leaf. Chen claims he has learned from his mistakes and will show up to be a better partner. However, his wife and in-laws are not sold on his answer since they are still horrified by the incident.

“I was immature when I was younger and I hurt many girls,” Chen said. “You must be loyal to your girlfriend rather than cheating on her. If in the future she decides to air her grievance, you will be done.”

Chen was outnumbered by a line-up of women who were determined to scream “we don’t” before he got the opportunity to say “I do.” Justice may be served in this case.
