When a feud between two people gets out of hand, it effects more than just those involved. A battle of luminosity has been blown to proportions in Cape Coral Florida after two neighbors first started arguing over a set of lights.
Frank Hood took matters into his own hands after he originally asked his neighbors across the canal to turn their lights off. On the other side, his neighbors aren’t a fan of the new strobe lights he’s set up.
“It was flashing! Like literally you had to close your eyes to walk inside the house… it was that bad,” Janna Piscenti, who was visiting the Vino family, said.
It’s now transpired into a light war between the neighbors. Apparently, the Vinos are trying to make peace after their granddaughter explained the reasoning behind their bright lights. Vivianna said that they are meant to scare off animals and keep them from digging holes in their yard.
Some people didn’t like her reasoning and continued to send her hate. “There were some people that were just very nasty,” Vivianna said.
Vivianna reassured that a new set of motion lights have been bought and the family is currently waiting on an electrician to install them. Hopefully, then, this feud between neighbors will end peacefully.
