With the Academy Awards coming up, everyone is looking to get a piece of the action. A website is looking to pay a cinephile $2,000 to watch all of this year’s Best Picture Oscar nominees and predict the outcome of the broadcast.
TestCasinos.com announced that they were looking to hire a film fan for a “unique job opportunity,” which involved watching the 10 nominees for Best Picture. Also included in the job description was rating each film and predict the outcome of the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress categories at the 96th Academy Awards.
The person selected for the job will also be asked to rate each film in categories including “emotional resonance,” “entertainment impact,” “memorability meter,” “creativity quotient” and its “social buzz score.”
The chosen candidate will receive $2,000, as well as a new 65-inch 4K TV and a $500 DoorDash gift card. The website is taking applications all the way up until March 3, 2024.
