Man Eats Only $1.50 Costco Hot Dogs for a Week Straight

Many people’s New Year’s goals revolve around weight loss or eating better. One man threw his diet plans out the window when he decided to eat only Costco hot dogs for seven days straight.

Sir Yacht, a content creator on TikTok, took to the platform to share his bizarre challenge of eating only Costco hot dogs for seven days in a row. In the TikTok, Sir Yacht admitted that he wanted “to see if paying $1.50 for a glizzy and drink was worth it.”

The TikToker revealed that he ate 29 hot dogs over the week, which averages out to around four a day. The total he spent on the meals was $43.50, which is just a fraction of the $164.82 the average millennial spends on food a week.

To much surprise, the content creator said that he “never got sick” of eating the dogs, despite his bowel movements “resembling Willy Wonka’s chocolate river.” We can only imagine what that means.

Even though eating only hot dogs doesn’t seem like the best diet, Sir Yacht said he lost 4.2 pounds over the seven days he completed the challenge. “I also might have started a new diet trend,” he said. “Or I have a giant tapeworm.”

Sir Yacht did warn others that he “doesn’t recommend” that others try the challenge. He explained that he also made sure he “walked 10-15 miles a day, drank a gallon of water a day and took daily vitamins that may or may not have been the Flintstone dinosaur ones.”

In the end, the experiment seemed worth it for Sir Yacht. “I balled on a budget, lost weight and had the culinary experience of a lifetime,” he said.
