Popeyes has garnered headlines before for its chicken sandwich but this new marketing move might just take the cake.
To celebrate Popeyes Canada’s 300th restaurant opening in the country, the brand announced that for three days it was selling a 300-piece nugget meal. From October 26 to 28, four Popeyes locations sold the 300 nugget meal and 30 dipping sauces starting at $200.
“Canadians love the authentic Louisiana flavours and culinary mastery that Popeyes provides, and demand for our product has led to the opening of many new restaurants across the country,” said Rob Manuel, general manager of Popeyes Canada.
“As we celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary year, we’re excited to commemorate this growth milestone and bring Popeyes closer to all of our fans.”
Customers who wanted a piece of the mega meal had to call or visit one of these four fast-food locations at least 24 hours in advance:

Popeyes was founded in New Orleans in 1972. The fried chicken company opened its first Canadian location in Toronto in 1984. They now have over 3,000 locations across Canada and the United States.
